Thomas Mackey Williams

Thomas Mackey Williams, 75 years old, of Indianapolis, died May 15, 2022. He worked for DHL prior to retiring.  He was a lifelong musician and played in bands from the time he was 15 years old until his late 60’s. Some bands he played in were: The Bardsmen, Pleasant Street, The Buffalo Brothers, The Nester Haven Band, The Toonz and Crossover Road. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving as a Public Relations Broadcaster, a Demolay graduate of the Masonic Lodge, volunteer at the election polls, a member of The American Legion, an avid NRA member, a Member of SASS (The Single Action Shooting Society) known in competition as Cpt. Tommy Buffalo.

Services will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 beginning with visitation at 3:30pm at Allisonville Christian Church (7701 Allisonville Road, Indpls, IN 46250) with funeral service beginning at 4:00pm. Private family burial will be held at a different date at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Pennville, IN. He is survived by his son Jason Williams, daughter Carrie McAfee, and granddaughters Kaitlyn, Kendall and Kiersten.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Rifle Association in his remembrance.
