Thomas “Tom” M. Allebrandi of Carmel, IN. passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at the age of 90. Tom was born January 3, 1928 in Indianapolis to the late Theodore and Ruth Allebrandi. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.
Owner of TA Electronics and a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, he worked in the telecommunication and broadcast engineering fields his entire life; most notably including work for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy Racing League for over 40 years.
A memorial service celebrating Tom’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 17 at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel. Family and friends are invited to gather from 12:00 noon until 2pm, the time of the service.
Preceded in death by Betty Allebrandi, he is survived by his children, Thomas M. (wife, Bev) Allebrandi II and Beth A. Winkel; grandchildren, Marty Allebrandi and Samantha N. Winkel; and great grandson, Jax T. Abdelaziz.
