Thomas Michael Lewis Sr. 60 of Indianapolis, passed away on May 26, 2024. Born on November 15, 1963, to Richard and Dorothy (Nance) Lewis.
As a proud Hoosier, Tom served his country honorably in the United States Army, embodying those values throughout his life. Tom was also a proud and valued brother of the Masonic Lodge, The Shriners and The Scottish Rite. Known for his outgoing and social nature, Tom never let anyone feel left out. He was full of ambitions and ideas, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Tom had a passion for music, traveling, animals, and genealogy. He cherished creating memories with his family and instilling his love of life in his children and those around him. Family was the most important aspect of Tom’s life. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Lewis; his children, Stephanie (Sarah) Lewis,
Thomas Michael Lewis Jr., Rhonda Lewis, Alyssa Lewis, Haylee (Jason) Thompson, William Lewis (with Mother Janice), and Rhiannon Lewis; and his grandchildren, Peyton, McKenzie, Annabelle, and Soren. He is also survived by his siblings, Carl (Cheryl) Lewis, David Lewis, and Gail (Rick) Grimes, as well as his sister-in-law, Becky Lewis.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dorothy Lewis, and his brother, Richard Lewis Jr. Tom will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be Thursday June 6th, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East (10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229) from 1-2pm. His memorial service will begin at 2pm.
