Thomas L. Davis, 88, Indianapolis, left this earthly world on Nov. 22nd due to complications of Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Diane Davis (Fulk) and his parents Charles and Myrtle Davis.
He is survived by his children Gary & Maureen Davis and Ken and Sheree Ulrich, 4 grandchildren: Jacob Davis, Matthew Davis, Annalisa Davis and Kurt Ulrich, and 2 great grandchildren Evelyn and Sophie Davis.
Tom loved football and was proud of being part of Tech High School’s championship football teams in the early 1950’s. He then served in the Navy as an aircraft mechanic during the Korean War but always laughed that he never was on a ship. He worked many years as an independent Public Adjuster helping people get just settlements from insurance companies.
Tom was a great father who loved his family deeply as evidenced in his written notes as his mind was fading. He was member of the Millersville Lodge, and in his later years enjoyed traveling and participating in the Murat Shrine Band.
Funeral services will begin at 12 noon on Monday, Nov. 29th at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. Visitation will be held from 10AM-12PM. He will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
