Thomas Edward Macy

Thomas Edward Macy 88 of Indianapolis died May 24, 2017. Tom was born on December 13, 1928 to Glyndon Hale and Nellie A. (Mahan) Macy. Tom was the third youngest of 14 sibling and was the last living one of his siblings. Tom graduated from Decatur Central High School Class of 1947, he went on the serve our country in the United States Marine Corp. Tom was a certified mechanic where he retired in 1987 from Mclean Trucking Company. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday May 27, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur with calling one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be in Floral Park Cemetery. Tom is survived by his loving wife; Karol Lynne (Shell) Macy who he married on April 13, 1952 in Indianapolis, his children; Victoria Lynne (Paul) O’Brien, Valerie Kaye (Ronald) McGinn, Karen Raye Macy, Konnie Lu (Randy) Mann, Kevin Alan Macy (Cherie Christine Macy, Deceased) and Shell Scott (Jewlia Meek) Macy his beloved 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
