Thomas D. Lund

Thomas Donald Lund, 66, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on May 27, 2020. He was born on September 26, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana

Tom attended Arlington High School in Indianapolis and went on to proudly serve in the United States Navy. He received his bachelor’s degree from IUPUI. After school, he went on to work in historical archives and was an archives consultant for the State of Indiana. He also a historian for Riley Children’s Hospital and acted as a consultant for families and children. Most recently he on the front lines helping COVID patients receive testing through Community Hospitals.

Tom is survived by his siblings, Perry Asher Lund, Emilie Ellen Lund and Sally A. Vaughan; niece Kathryn A. Vaughan and fiancé Joshua Richardson; nephew Tony Hamble, Jr. and girlfriend Jessica Bowers; niece Gabrielle N. Gadbury (Logan); great nephews-Jackson B. Richardson, Jameson M. Richardson, Kaiser C. Gadbury, Godric L. Gadbury, Lockleigh M. Hamble; cousins Robert Layton, Michael Layton, Matthew Layton, Monica Layton.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents John A. Lund and Dorothy J. Lund.

Services will be held privately.
