Thomas A. “Tommy” Miskowiec, 65 of Westfield, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Tommy was born November 23, 1955 in Indianapolis. He was a barber for over 20 years, most recently at Everyday Joe’s in Brownsburg. For Tommy barbering was a ministry and vocation, not a job. He connected with countless people this way, and embraced every opportunity to encourage others and share his faith.
Tommy was an active member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Smiles Unlimited Clown Ministry and the Central Indiana Cursillo Movement. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid sports fan. Go Bears! But his greatest love was his family, especially his grandkids.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 16, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield. Due to COVID restrictions the church is allowed up to 500 to attend the mass; however there will be no visitation and internment will be private. The mass can be live streamed here: https://www.facebook.com/GorettiCatholic/
Tom is survived by his wife, Leslie; children, Chris (wife, Stephanie) Miskowiec and Liz (husband, Steve) Blazekovich; mother, Florence Miskowiec; grandchildren, Camden, Savannah, Jonas, Levi and Thomas; sister, Patty (husband, Bill) Stokes; brothers, Rick and Tim Miskowiec, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond A. Miskowiec and two angel grandbabies.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Indiana Cursillo Movement, https://www.cursillo-cicc.org/donate, or St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. Please visit flannerbuchanan.com to sign the online guest register and leave a favorite memory of Tommy.
