Theresa Gwen Talley

Theresa Gwen Talley (Tressy), 61, of Indianapolis, IN went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 4th, 2025. She was born on January 16th, 1964, to Richard and Juanita Talley in Richmond, VA. She came from a large family, with 13 siblings.

Theresa was a passionate advocate for educating everyone on the signs and symptoms of Ovarian Cancer due to losing her daughter at the tender age of 20 from this awful disease. She dedicated her time on the board of directors for Ovar’Coming Together and volunteered for the non-profit organization of Gleaners Food Bank as she always had a giving heart. When she wasn’t volunteering, she loved spending time with her close friends and family. As a profession, Theresa worked for the State of Indiana with the Attorney General’s office as an Investigator for 25 years before retiring.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Richard and Juanita Talley, her daughter Kelly Brooke Nungester (Owens), as well as 5 siblings: Thomas Talley (TT), Yvonne Stiegelmeyer (Bunny), Michelle Knox (Shelly), Mark Cains (Bucky), and Earl C. Hall Jr. (Buddy).

She is survived by her son Kevin (Megan) Mosiman, grandson Treyton (Ryleigh) Nungester, great grand-daughter Tillie Josephine Nungester, and siblings: Richard (Tina) Talley Jr. (Little Bit), Cheryle Burgess, Darrell (Margarette) Talley, Dawn Cains, Rita Coppock (Ricky), James Cains (Jimmy), Theresa Snyder (Terry), Gwen DeRosa (Gerry).

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her name to the American Cancer Society, or in Kelly’s name to Ovar’Coming Together.

Visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 12pm-2pm with a Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
