Theresa Gail Rothwell

Theresa Gail Rothwell, age 62 of Indianapolis passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Theresa was born on April 2, 1962 in Indianapolis, a daughter of Bill and Shirley (Durnil) Little. She is preceded in death by her parents. Her mother Shirley preceded Theresa in death just earlier this year on March 14, 2024.

Theresa was the first born of four children. She is survived by her younger brother Bill Little of Greenwood, younger sisters Anita (husband Marty) Nichols of Indianapolis, and Debbie Underwood of Indianapolis.

Theresa married Brian Rothwell on December 11, 1982 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years: Brian Rothwell of Indianapolis.

Two daughters: Kristen (husband Chris) Morphis of Indianapolis and Kellie Rothwell of Indianapolis.

Three grandchildren: Brianna, Christopher Jr. and Brayden.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and relatives.

Theresa was born on the East Side of Indianapolis and raised on the South Side.  She was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis. 

Theresa was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother who took care of not only her family but so many others.  She helped everyone she knew asking for nothing in return.  She will not only be missed and remembered, she will always be loved.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East Funeral Center, located at 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229.

Her funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. Rev. Dr. Daniel Rasmussen will officiate.

Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
