Theresa L. Diehl

Theresa Louise (Middleton) Diehl 75 of Indianapolis died March 02, 2017. Theresa was born June 06, 1941 in Indianapolis to Newland William and Nora Lee (Gentry) Middleton. Theresa was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She worked for the Indianapolis Police Department for 38 wonderful years where she was a secretary and a transcriber before her retirement in 1997. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband retired Indianapolis Police Officer George Franklin Diehl in 2010, daughter Susan Marie Diehl in 2014 and Wayne Township Firefighter and Clermont Police Officer Michael Joseph Diehl in 2015. Theresa and her late husband George were season ticket holders for 48 years of her beloved Indiana Pacers. Calling for Theresa will be held on Tuesday March 07, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 08, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10 am. Theresa is survived by her daughter in law; Tammy Kathleen (Flaherty) Diehl, brother; William “Bill” (Linda) Middleton, brother in laws; Martin (Patti) Diehl and Joe Hodge, cousin; Rita Mahan and a lifelong friend; Gloria Keating.
