Thelma Marie Crisup

Thelma Marie Crisup, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017.

She was born on October 31, 1928 in Champaign, IL to the late Clarence and Gladys (Neely) Eskridge. Thelma worked for Wasson Department Stores for 21 years. When she wasn’t working she enjoyed sewing and flower gardening, reading mystery novels and listening to country music. However, her greatest joy in life was being a mother.

She is survived by her children, Paul Chapman, Lyn Fredrick and Greg Chapman; and 6 grandchildren, Susan, Paul III, Kelly, Chad, Greg and Matthew. Thelma was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Chapman, Sr.; and second husband, Charlie Crisup. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral services for Mrs. Crisup will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 1pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park, with visitation 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
