Thelma Ernestine St. John, 93, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away June 20, 2020. She was born in Indianapolis on July 29, 1926 to the late Ernest and Thelma King.
She graduated with an associate degree in nursing and went on to serve her community for 18 years as an LPN for Dr. James Warner. She was a proud member of Irvington Presbyterian Church and loved the local Irvington community that she lived in for many years. Music was a large part of her life. She played the piano and organ and in her last years enjoyed playing an electronic keyboard. She loved crocheting, and made many Items for family and friends that will be cherished for years to come and handed down for generations.
She is survived by her sister Irene Fishero; children, Claudia E. Kiblinger, Deborah E. Bass, Robert E. St. John, Perry E. St. John and Teena E. Felgen; grandchildren, David, Earl III, Loretta, Teresa, Peggi, Robert, Sacha, Brandon, Aliese, Emerson, Emma and Todd; great grandchildren, Christopher, McKenzie, Madison, Elizabeth, Carissa, Elyshia, Caleb, Isaiah, Joshua, Daniel and Levi. Thelma is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert E. St. John, their daughter Merrie Ella and granddaughter Laura Marie.

A graveside memorial service will take place on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery at 3PM, 9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
