The Rev. GEORGE WILLIAM HURT, 88, Indianapolis, died Jan. 1.
He was minister of the American Baptist Church for 22 years, retiring in 1978. He had also served Baptist churches in New Castle, New Albany, Plainfield, Mount Vernon and Bethleham.
