Terry Paul Carlon

Terry Paul Carlon, 74, of Carmel passed away April 19, 2023.  He was born September 21, 1948, in Grosse Pointe, Michigan the son of the late Francis D. and Mary E. (Stewart) Carlon.  He married Janette D. Anderson on October 4, 1969.

Terry proudly and honorably served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. Terry received his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan in 1996. He had a very successful career in the tire industry spanning almost 5 decades, retiring in 2016. Outside of his family, golf was his love, and he spent much of his free time at the links or watching his grandkids sporting activities.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janette Carlon; their three children, Aimee (Michael) Weaver, Stephanie (Kyle) Wagner, and Scott (April) Carlon; nine grandchildren, Jake, Nick, Sam, MacKenzie, Grace, Emme, Olivia, Will, and Ally; sister, Jan (Dave) Doberstin; and a brother, Robin Carlon.

A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters), 4180 Westfield Road.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will immediately follow from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Prairie Waters.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association or to Riley Children’s Foundation.  Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.flannerbuchanan.com.
