Terry Allen Rhude Sr.

Terry Allen Rhude, Sr. 74 of Paragon, Indiana passed away Saturday May 6, 2023, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 1, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Herman and Martha (Huddleston) Rhude. Terry owned and operated Rhude and Son Guttering. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, was a hard worker, and loved spending time with his family. Terry was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Vivian M. (Richey) Rhude, children, Terry (Gidget) Rhude Jr. of Freedom, Indiana, Jackalee Fauber of Brazil, Indiana, Carrie (Josh) Hale of Camby, Indiana, Corey (Angie) Rhude of Paragon, Indiana, 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, sisters, Sally Chris, Shirley Smith, Sue (Mike) Wyrick, Peggy Burton, brothers, Mike (Lynette) Rhude, Randy Rhude, and Robin (Diane) Rhude, several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Jesse Allen Abrams, siblings, Ruth Anne Carrol, Donna Kay Rhude, Marcie Routin, William “Butch” Rhude, and Danny Rhude. Services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with visitation on Wednesday, May 10, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana following the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to Jesse’s Helping Hand, Inc., a not-for-profit foundation formed after his grandson’s death.
