Terry A. Smith

Terry A. Smith, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at the age of 71.

Terry was born on July 6, 1948 in London, Kentucky to Harry and Dorothy (Deaton) Smith.
Terry served in the United States Army for 6 years. He was stationed in Vietnam for a year and during his service received the National Defense Service Medal, Parachute Badge, Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and an Army Commendation Medal. Terry Was part of 101st Airborn Division.
Terry was very proud to be a part of the VFW Post 2839 and receive an award for being an All State Team Post Commander, which is one of the highest awards you can receive. He was part of this organization for approximately 20 years; served as District Commander before his 3 year term as All State Commander.
