Terri L. Eikenberry, a radiant soul born on March 19, 1967, in Indianapolis, departed from this world too soon on April 19, 2025, leaving behind echoes of love and laughter that will resonate for years to come. She was known to many as a "Bad Ass" in the most endearing sense—a fierce protector and devoted friend who would go to great lengths for those she cared about. Terri's vibrant personality made her a beloved figure; a person whose warmth drew others into her orbit effortlessly.
With an adventurous spirit, Terri dedicated many years of her life to bartending, skillfully slinging drinks at "Chips" Bar and Lounge and at Maple Creek Golf Course. She poured not just drinks, but her heart into each interaction, fostering connections and brightening the days of everyone who crossed her path. Her hearty laughter and spirited karaoke sessions captivated those around her, while her talent at the pool table showcased her competitive flair—playing with the finesse of a seasoned pro.
Terri had an unquenchable love for the beach; warm water and soft sand brought her joy that few could rival. Whether it was the gentle lapping of waves or the sun kissing her skin, these moments filled her with an exuberance that was infectious to all who shared her adventures. Music flowed through her veins—country and rock ‘n’ roll were the anthems of her heart, melodies that rang out like victory cries amidst the backdrop of her life lived fully and freely.
Her greatest pride, however, was found in the heartwarming moments spent with her family. Terri adored her husband, Robert Eikenberry, and cherished every memory with her children, Danielle (Keegan) Skaggs, Taylor (Austin) Paschal, and Cade (Courtney) Eikenberry. The delight of her grandchildren—Holden, Sully, Rhylan, and Rhyder—was a love unmatched, as they were the heartbeat of her existence. Terri's legacy lives on through her beloved mother, Margie Skaggs, her siblings Gary, Donny, and Donna, and her many nieces and nephews.
Her sweet doggies, Max and Luna, were also a testament to her nurturing spirit, adding warmth and joy to her home.
Terri is proceeded in death by her late father, Chester "Chet" Skaggs, her nephew Timmy Jones, and her sister Ronnie Gentry.
The world is indeed a dimmer place without the vibrant light that was Terri L. Eikenberry.
