Teresa V. Navarro

Teresa Veliz Navarro, 88, of Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2020. She was born in Del Rio, Texas on September 13, 1932 to the late Marcelino and Francisca Veliz.

She was a retired employee of Indianapolis Public Schools and was also a proud long-time member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles.

Teresa is survived by her brother, Richard Veliz; daughters, Carmen Navarro Naranjo, Sofia Navarro Rodriguez, Juanita F. Bravo, and Jessie Froschauer; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and countless friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents; husbands, Jose Angel Navarro and James W. Froschauer; son, Fidel Navarro; brothers, Frank Velasquez and Hecto Veliz of Del Rio, Texas.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 25, 2020 at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229 from 10AM to 2PM with funeral services to begin at 2PM.
