Tamara Meyers

Tamara Meyers, 50, of Indianapolis passed away on June 25, 2020.

Tammy dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family. Growing up, she wanted a family to grow and love unconditionally. Her and her husband, Robert, had three children together and raised them in a home that she filled with love and endless smiles. Those who had a close relationship with her were witness to her beautiful heart and bright and cheerful personality.

She worked as an agent for the Indianapolis Star for over 20 years managing and cultivating meaningful relationships with her contractors.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Robert, Claire, and Taylor; and her grandchildren, Kaydence and Parker.

Tammy is preceded in death by her mother, Bettie Wilhite, and her father, William Leisure.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 10 at Flanner Buchanan–Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Tamara will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
