Susan M. Stein

Susan M. Stein, 82 of Carmel, passed away on Sunday December 15, 2019. She was born on August 15, 1937 in Bayonne, New Jersey to the late Sifredo and Maria Marangio.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Karen Stein; son, Michael (Lisa) Stein; grandchildren, Kristina, Isabelle, J.D., and Sofia; great grandchild, Amora; sister, Linda Bucca; and, brother, Frank (Mary) Marangio.  She was an unbelievable cook and made everyone feel welcome at her home. Sue loved to feed people, making food for all of her visitors. She was an incredible mother and friend. Sometimes she had no filter, but that is what we loved about her so much. She also had a great sense of humor.  Susan M. Stein was the definition of Family, she truly was.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Thursday December 19, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel (325 East Carmel Drive, Carmel, Indiana 46032), where words of comfort will be shared at 4:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or the Dementia Society of America.
