Sue Parsley Buchmann, 76, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Sue is the daughter of the late Joseph Woodson Law and Daphne Louise Douglas Law. She was born on February 13, 1942, in Scottsville, Kentucky on her grandmother’s birthday.
Sue is preceded in death by her beloved husband Peter James Buchmann and older brother, Noel Douglas Law. Surviving siblings are Rinda Charlene Ernst (Paul), Joel David Law (Joy) and Debra Jean Hocker (James). Sue is survived by her daughter Rhonda Parsley Fasig (Michael) and her son Brian William Parsley (Teresa); step children Kurt (Kim) Buchmann, Suzanne Buchmann Berkovitz and Karl Buchmann (Maggie); grandchildren Benjamin Hokanson-Fasig (Kaylin), Peter Fasig, Garrett Parsley, Trinity Cassel and Austin and Matthew Berkovitz; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews; and her former spouse David William Parsley.
Sue also resided in Indianapolis, IN; Green Bay, WI; Cincinnati, OH; Braden, FL; and New Orleans, LA. She loved traveling all over the world with family and friends, recently tracing her family roots through Ireland and Scotland. “My love of travel started with trips to Kentucky.”
Her children and their families would like to express their gratitude to all of those who cared for her. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 20, at 3:00 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan- Broad Ripple, Indiana. Friends may call from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m.
