Life Reflections of Sue Carolyn Brown
Sue Carolyn Brown was born April 9, 1956 in Indianapolis, IN to the union of Dave and Minnie Sue Gadis Jr. She was educated in the Indianapolis Public School System, Arsenal Technical High School and Ivy Tech Community College.

Sue accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and was baptized at Greater Elim Missionary Baptist Church.

She was joined in Holy Matrimony to her devoted husband Dwight A. Brown.

Sue retired from Rolls Royce Corporation after 37 years of dedicated service in Skilled Trades. She was a woman of many talents: sewing, interior design, quilting, tool belt diva, certified floral designer and business owner of Fab Right Upholstery and Embroidery.

Sue was extremely loving and proud of her two daughters, Shawn Jones and Nicole Bennett. She enjoyed time spent with her sisters, affectionately known as the “Three Amigos”, and her two fur babies Sugar Ray and May.

She was an avid reader, gardener, loved traveling with family, shopping and finding good deals. Sue was passionate about fitness training, cooking, music and experiencing new adventures.

Sue was known for her beautiful infectious smile; when she smiled it made you want to smile too! She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger and was always willing to help others. Most importantly, Sue was a God-fearing woman, awesome mother and loving wife.

Sue went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the age of 61. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Dave and Minnie Sue Gadis Jr. and sister Pamela Jean Gadis.

Sue leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband, Dwight A. Brown; daughters, Shawn Jones (James) and Nicole Bennett; brothers, Cornell Gadis and Eric Gadis; sisters, Sharon Scales and Vernice Randle (Russell); grandchildren Brianna and Caleb Jones; nephews Marcus Gadis, Eric Gadis Jr., Adrian and Andre Randle; nieces, Renee King and Erica Gadis; great nieces, Senea L. Scales, Riley and Reese Suber; uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.
