Steven Ross Sackers

Steven R. Sackers of Evansville, Indiana passed away on December 31, 2021 surrounded
and supported with love by his family. He was born on July 17, 1954 to the late Petrus
and Marie Sackers in Evansville, Indiana. Mr. Sackers worked at Wabash Foods for the
past 13 years as a Sales Representative and has been in the industry for over the past forty
years.
Mr. Sackers is survived by his son, Gregory P. Sackers. His sister; Janice L. Sackers and
brother, Scott G. Sackers (Elizabeth). He has one niece: Ann Marie Sackers-Noble
(Scott) and two nephews, Zachary S. Sackers (Kate) and Peter M. Sackers (Chloe).
Steven is preceded in death by his parents, Petrus J. and Marie A. Sackers; his
grandparents, Petrus and Adriana Sackers; Bert and Nancy Evans, and Otho Addison; his
uncle, Gerritt H. Sackers, his aunts; Elisabeth J. (Sackers) Kleinlein and Adriana R.
(Sackers) Armstrong.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm with a service
followed at 3:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Hamilton Memorial Park, 4160 Westfield
Road, Westfield, Indiana. A memorial service will be later held in Evansville at a later
date to be determined. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church
at 20650 Cumberland Road, Noblesville, Indiana 46062.
