Steven Alan “Steve” Freeman 72 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away September 19, 2022. He was born February 8, 1950, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late John and Lois (Halpin) Freeman. Steve, as everyone knew him, was a Self-Employed Truck Driver for many years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed NASCAR, being with his family, and drinking beer. Steve was very generous, hardworking, he knew no stranger, and if you were invited into his home, you left well feed and being his friend. Steve was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Berry, his grandchildren, Brandon, Brice, Justice, Taylor, Ethan, his great grandchildren, Braxton, Sawyer, Hudson, his sisters, Darlene, Karen, his brothers, Jack, Gary, and his extended family and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ellen (Bose) Freeman, and his son, Steven M. Freeman. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, 12:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with visitation there from 10:00am until the service. Steve will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens-Greenwood, Indiana.
