Stephen M. Groves

51, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 5, 2018.  He was a retired Army veteran, serving for twenty-one years.  He was employed by UPS for twenty-four years.  He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.  He was the #1 Notre Dame fan and loved to fish.  He had a heart of gold and was loved by many.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia O’Maley Day and father-in-law, Albert Pugh.  He is survived by his wife, Tanya L. (Pugh) Groves; daughter, Gabriella Groves; father, Marion Groves; brother, Christopher (Michele) Craig; sister, Sherri Hash; mother-in-law, Dianna Pugh; step-father, Charles Day and many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township.  Services will be Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10 am at St. Ann Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at West Newton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Franciscan Hospice House.
