Stephen Dale Dixon

Stephen Dale Dixon, 63, of Indianapolis, IN passed away July 1, 2021. He was born August 18, 1957 to the late Frank and Grace (Branson) Dixon. Stephen was a Fabricating Machine Specialist for Allison Transmission for 41 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, was a huge Colts fan, played the guitar and keyboard and was self-taught. He was quite a joker, loving, and content on being quiet. He was crazy about his dogs! Stephen was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Debra (Bissell) Dixon, children Jeremiah (Jackie) Dixon, Selena (David) VanSickle, grandchildren Katelyn, Jacob, Jack, Chase, Adisyn, Ethan, great grandson R.J., brother Anthony Dixon, and nieces Lindsey Workman and Monika Sharp. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sister Robin Sharp. Funeral Service for Stephen will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township with visitation there from 11:00 AM until the service.
