Stephen Rollin Curry, 77, of Indianapolis passed away on May 1, 2024. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 18, 1947, to his parents Rollin and Loutisha Curry. Stephen was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School—class of 1965. He then went on to Vincennes University studying Music. His love for music followed him all throughout his life. Stephen was a huge trivia buff—he had a knack for it and even was a contestant on Jeopardy in the mid 90’s. He also enjoyed reading and sports—specifically local teams such as Indiana University, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Indiana Pacers. In later years, he was influenced by his son, Spencer, and became a Chicago Cubs fan! Stephen was one of a kind and undoubtedly left this world too soon. He will surely be missed.
He is survived by his son, Spencer Curry; his siblings, Dyann Gearlds and Michael (Irene) Curry; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by his parents, and his siblings, Charlene Robbins, Barbara Forbes, Timothy Curry, and Suzanne Parker.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Flanner Buchanan—Washington Park East. Stephen will be laid to rest alongside his parents at Washington Park East Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 10AM at the cemetery.
