Stephanie Marie Stanley

Stephanie Marie Stanley of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on January 9, 2022 at the age of
49 after a courageous fight for her life.

She was born July 6, 1972 in Muncie, IN to Arthur and Cathy Richman. She attended Wapahani
High School where she was the salutatorian of the class of 1990. Stephanie then attended Ball
State University where she studied Elementary Education. She was also an active member of
Kappa Delta sorority. She met her former husband, Ray in 1993 and married in 1997. They
welcomed their only child, Madison, in December of 2002. She started her beloved job at
McCordsville Elementary in 2016.

She is survived by her daughter Madison Marie Stanley; parents Arthur and Cathy Richman;
former husband Ray Stanley; and sister Stacie Clevenger.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 14 from 4-8 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Geist, 7855 Cork
Road, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 15 at the funeral
home. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
