Siu Sheung S. Mark

Siu Sheung Susan (Leung) Mark, 81, of Indianapolis passed away on November 13, 2022. She was born in Canton, China on August 19, 1941, to her parents, George and Posan. She loved to cook and shared this love by teaching her children and grandchildren how to make their favorite dishes as well as through the many meals she prepared for church pitch-ins at Lawrence Baptist Church, where she was a dedicated member for more than 50 years. One of her other joys in life was crocheting. Her love of the art is evident in the countless Afghans that she made through the years for her loved ones and in the time she spent teaching them her technique.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children; Timothy, Samuel (Sarah), Matthew (Tracey), and Lisa (Bruce); and her grandchildren; Zachary, Nathaniel, Ethan, Kimberly, Joshua, Nicholas, Gabrielle, Christina, Alexandra and William. Siu Sheung is preceded in death by her husband, William Yen Ott Mark Jr., and her parents.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 11AM-1PM at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. The funeral service will begin at 1PM, following the visitation. Siu Sheung will be laid to rest next to her late husband, in Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Siu Sheung’s wishes, the family requests that donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or The Assistance Fund.
