Shirley M. (Hopkins) Mccord

Shirley M. (Hopkins)McCord, 85, of New Palestine, passed away April 6, 2017. She was born January 13, 1932 in MaconCounty, TN the daughter of the late William and Clara Myrtle (England)Hopkins. She loved Scrabble and playingcards. She was preceded in death by herhusband Donald McCord and her son Dennis McCord.

Shirley is survived by herdaughters, Karen Mathis (Terry) and Denise Neal (Rick); daughter-in-law, TerriMcCord; grandchildren, Russ, Ryan, Jason, Tricia, Jessi, Jami, Jodi and Jake;12 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren; her sister Betty Dameand her brother Roger Hopkins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 12:00PM until the service time at 2:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington ParkEast, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Burial will be in WashingtonPark East Cemetery.
