Shirley D. Wagner, 57, Carmel, passed away January 18, 2017. She was born June 24, 1959, in Lafayette, the daughter of Charles and Lenore (Hopkins) Williams. She married Douglas Wagner on April 26, 1980.

Shirley was a 1977 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. She worked for St. Vincent Hospital for over 29 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. Shirley's life revolved around her children and grandchildren. She was a beautiful and loving woman with a personality that could light up any room. She will be forever missed by her family and friends, but "Always In Our Hearts".

She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Douglas Wagner; three children, Andrea Lenore Wagner, Danielle Nicole (Nick) Ogle, Charles Douglas (Lauren) Wagner; three grandchildren, Brayden, Zachary, and Zoey Wagner; parents, Charles and Lenore Williams; sister, Debby (John) Glover; nephew, Ryan (Michelle) Glover; two brothers-in-law, David (Pat) Wagner and Dan (Mona) Wagner; and sister-in-law, Dori (Mike) Whitney. She was preceded in passing by father and mother-in-law, Richard and Marvel Wagner; and brother-in-law, Don Wagner.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2017, Grace Church, 5504 East 146th Street. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to Grace Church. Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.flannerbuchanan. Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park.
