Shirley A. Wayman 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Brownsburg on December 18th. She was born in Indianapolis on July 30, 1939, to the late John B. and Bessie Cooper.
Mrs. Wayman was a graduate of Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis and was employed by Basil Appliance in Englewood, Florida for several years.
Mrs. Wayman’s greatest joys in life were her husband of 19 years, James Harvey Wayman, traveling, friends and family, and her beloved canines. She also loved the sunshine of Florida, the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, and reading.
She is survived by her sister JoAnn Calvin and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers Bill, Bob, Chuck, John, Richard and Gene, and sisters Mary and Betty.
