Shirley Ann Pugh

Shirley Ann (Hall) Pugh walked into the arms of her Savior Jesus after suddenly passing on December 30, 2020 at the age of 83. Shirley was born on August 1, 1937 in Lakeville, IN and married Richard Allen Pugh on May 10, 1958 to whom she was happily married for 62 years. They lived in Northern Indiana until the mid 60’s and had two children Tammy and Greg before moving to central Indiana where she and Richard continued to reside. She is survived by her husband Richard, brothers Garry (Janet) Hall, Don (Sharon) Hall, daughter Tammy (Joe) Vrabely and son Greg (Cheri) Pugh, grandchildren Lindsay Vrabely, Ashely Vrabely (Adam Fountaine), Mallory (Eric) Malinowski, Jessica (Jared) Howe, Ryan Pugh, Brad Pugh, Jarrett Pugh and great grandchildren Hazel Malinowski and Levi Howe.

The 62 years of marriage is evidence of her incredibly strong commitment to her entire family, her friends and her Lord. From 50 years of service through the Kappa Kappa Sigma social service sorority to various service opportunities at Traders Point Christian Church to making sugar cookies for her grandchildren the week of her passing, she always was thinking of ways to serve others. She was hard working as evidenced by her gardening, yardwork, and her walking pace. But she also loved to have fun as many of us have seen her hit the dance floor and celebrate after winning a card/board game.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Ann Clark, father Harrold Hall, and sister Delores (Don) Palmer.
