Sherry A. Galambus, age 65, of Carmel passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021. Born in Indianapolis, on October 24, 1956,she was the daughter of Charles A. and Mary M. (Cravens)Clements.
She had a penchant for math and science, earning her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Purdue University and later a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. Sherry had a successful career working with a number of companies, most notable RCA / GE Consumer Electronics and Best Lock Company.
Blessed with an artistic touch, she was a talented seamstress who lovingly made Halloween costumes for the family. She was an avid animal lover, having enjoyed the companionship of many pets. Though she was a lifelong Indiana resident, she enjoyed sunny days, strolling on the beach, and shelling in Florida.
Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Mark Galambus; two daughters, Justine Galambus and Christina Blackwell; her mother, Mary M. Chandler; sister, Michelle (Doug) Lairmore; and three brothers, Bill (Lisa) Harvey, Tom (Julie) Harvey, and Tony (Amy) Harvey.
Sherry was preceded in passing by a sister, Linda Grooms.
There will be a private remembrance gathering at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Carmel.
