Sheila G. Poole

Sheila G. (Perkins) Poole 65, of Indianapolis, passed peacefully in her sleep at home with her daughter and son-in-law on December 10, 2017. Sheila was born on June 13, 1952 to the late Vernon and Margaret (Butler) Perkins in Indianapolis. She was a graduate of North Central High School in 1970. Her career spanned 30 years in medical billing, working in Indianapolis and Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Poole, whom she married in 1974, and one brother, Eugene Perkins. She is survived by her daughter Michelle (Brian) Pittman; granddaughter; Natasha Shellhouse; brothers, Michael (Katie) Perkins, Ben (Andrea) Perkins, Patrick (Margaret) Perkins, Christopher (Marla) Perkins, Nichols (Michele) Perkins, Matthew (Wendy) Perkins, sisters, Brenda (Frank) Perez, Ann (Chuck) Payne. Friends and family are invited to gather on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 2-6pm with a rosary service at 4pm at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Monday, December 18, 2017 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 4100 East 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
