Sheila Dailey

Sheila Dailey, 70, of Fishers, IN, passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2021, while at her home in Fort Myers, FL.

She was born February 4, 1951 in Anderson, IN, the second of two children to Lawrence and Evelyn (Anderson) Niccum.  Sheila grew up in Anderson and graduated from Highland High School in 1970.  She married Stevan C. Donaldson and went on to have two daughters, Lisa and Julie.

Residing in Middletown, IN, she and Stevan owned local businesses, including a hometown favorite, Pizza-n-Stuff.  Sheila (Donaldson) sold her business to pursue a career at General Motors in Anderson, IN.

Sheila married Richard Hunnicutt in 1992 and moved to Fishers, IN.  After retiring in 1995, Sheila spent her time cooking, gardening and shopping.  She was an avid animal lover and spoiled her little dogs as much as possible.

In 2018, Sheila married Bill Dailey.  She was an active member of McGregor Baptist Church and the Beacon Life Group in Fort Myers and Fall Creek Church in Indianapolis.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband Bill.  Some of her favorite adventures were an Alaskan Cruise and trips to the Great Smokey Mountains.  Southwest Florida was also one of her favorite destinations.  She dearly loved their little multipoo Briley, who will truly miss her mommy.

Sheila is survived by her loving husband, Bill Dailey; daughters, Lisa Parker (Greg) of Sheridan, IN and Julie Schrader of Carmel, IN; stepdaughter, Rebecca Crull (Shawn) of New Palestine, IN; sister, Betty York (Michael) of Daleville, IN; grandchildren, Adam Parker (Holly), Aaron Gosser (Samantha), Ashlee Skomp (Corey), Alec Parker, Lydia Schrader and Brannon and Alex Crull; great grandchildren, William and Norah Parker and Liliana Gosser.  She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Evelyn Niccum.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Fall Creek Church (8901 Fall Creed Road, Indianapolis, IN 46256) on June 18, 2021 at 4:00 pm.  The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm.   Memorial gifts may be made to Fall Creek Church: 8901 Fall Creek Road; Indianapolis, IN 46256.
