Sharon "Bookie" Gee

Ms. Sharon Kay Gee was born on October 30, 1951, the daughter of Arthur E. Gee and Mary E. Wright-Gee.

Sharon received her education from the Indianapolis Public School System. She attended School 64, School 44, and then proceeded to graduate from George Washington High School.

Sharon was a faithful employee at Riley Children’s Hospital for many years. Sharon then moved on to work for Telamon Corporation as an employee working in the Accounting and Quality Control departments, she retired from the company in 2015.

At a young age, Sharon gave her life to Christ at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She then continued to be a faithful woman of God.

Sharon Gee had a caring heart that will be missed by many. She always made sure her family and friends were taken care of. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to watch CNN, do yard work, and cook for her family. She also loved to take trips and spend time with her close friends, Cathy Banks, Harriet Harper, Rita Holliday, and Rita Thomas who preceded her in death.

On Wednesday, June 5th, 2019, the loving soul of Sharon Kay Gee went home to be with the LORD. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur E. Gee and Mary E. Wright-Gee.

Sharon leaves to cherish her memories and caring heart: her children, Denyeil S. Mayberry and Winter C. Smith; her grandchildren, Nia S. Kyle and Brianna L. Allen; her siblings, Phyllis Floyd-Benson, Arthur (Geraldine) Gee Jr. of Antioch California, Trijenia (Jesse) Pittman of Austin, Texas, Sherman (Carren) Gee, and Tawonia (Tony) Taylor; special friends, Cathy (Larry) Banks, Harriet Harper, Rita Holliday; a host of other relatives, friends, and co-workers from the Telamon Community.
