Shanon D. Sturgis

Shanon Dorene Sturgis, 61, passed away on March 8, 2023.

She was born on November 30, 1961, in Bedford, Indiana, to Charles and Claris Sturgis.

Shanon was a devoted RN and worked in healthcare for 30 years, earning her RN nursing license on February 25^th, 2003. She loved and respected all of her colleagues and truly enjoyed her time working at Ascension St. Vincent Cardiology.

One of the greatest joys in Shanon’s life was spending time with her grandson and favorite flying monkey, Kaleb.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Evan McMahon, Cheyenne McAleese (Dave), and Dustin Crail; her grandson, Kaleb Jackson; mother, Claris Sturgis; father, Charles Sturgis Jr; stepmother, Rosella Sturgis; sister, Shelly Sturgis; pretty girl, Sarabi; and other fur babies, Vincent, Spaz, and Brienne.

No services are planned at this time, as per Shanon’s wishes. Cremation was chosen and when the time is right, she will become a “Groot”
