Scott Alan Wooldridge, 53, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, February 13, 2021.
He spent his early career at Navistar in Fort Wayne before moving to Carmel in 2007 to work for Roche Diagnostics in Indianapolis. Scott was a devoted and loving husband, an involved and encouraging father, a loyal and engaging friend, and a nature and dog lover. He was a leader that motivated and inspired those around him with his unbounded encouragement. Scott most enjoyed his family, loved the outdoors, attending the Sundance Film Festival, cars and trucks of all varieties, skiing, and his dogs which always brought him great joy. He embraced life with passion and vigor and wanted to share everything with those that he loved.
Scott is survived by his wife of 28 years, Laurie (Knittle); sons Kyle and Zachary; his father Don of Mesa, AZ; step-mother Patricia; and brother, Randy (wife, Tina) of Garrett, IN.
Scott will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 20 at 11:00 am and can be viewed by live stream for all that knew and loved him by clicking this link
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to support the needs of the local community with the Grace Care Center or to the National Park System where he always hoped to retire as a park ranger living in a yurt with a view of a mountain or lake.
Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Carmel.
