Scenobia “Nobe” Rodgers was born in Chicago, Il to the late Bettie M. Rodgers and Wesley M. Crenshaw in Aug. 1961. She had attended many public schools but graduated from Cosmopolitan Prep School in 1988.
Scenobia had worked various jobs but was very fond of Mercy Hospital and Vitas where she could utilize her ability of helping others.
She had received many awards, appreciations and recognitions for the work she had done. She continued her education at Latee’s Beauty college receiving her cosmetology license at Kaplan College in 2010 where she graduated as a medical office specialist and Indiana Tech for 2 years, however her health began to fail and she couldn’t complete her course.
She moved to Indianapolis, IN in 2004 to be with Family. She had enjoyed family time and family gatherings, especially with her children and grandchildren. She loved the outdoors, sitting on the porch and interacting.
Scenobia’s grandkids meant the world to her and she went over and above for them. She also loved to read and to learn new things. She loved life.
Scenobia was preceded in death by both parents. Scenobia leaves behind two children; Stacey (Larry) Watson and Wesley Wallace, both of Indianapolis; sisters, Tawanda (Indianapolis), Paz (New York); a brother, Tracey (Chicago); several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends. Scenobia had a special lover for her niece Paz Rodgers.
