Sara Jean Parke Golay

94 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on March 13, 2025. Sara was born on November 3, 1930, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Paul and Viola Parke. Sara retired from Larue Carter Hospital as an EEG Technician after working 30 years. She enjoyed playing her piano, dulcimers and singing in the church choir. Sara cared for all living things especially her dogs. She was a lifelong member of Speedway Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Golay, Sr., sister Pauline Genung and her parents. She is survived by her children Diane Yager, Jim Golay and Bill (Terri) Golay, grandchildren Ben, Emily and Stacy and great grandchildren Jacob and Isabelle. Graveside service will be Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 10 am at Floral Park Cemetery.
