They call her their rock, their sunshine, and their peacemaker. Sara passed away on November 4, 2020 surrounded by her devoted family. She leaves a hole in their lives that can’t be filled.
Sara was born on August 24, 1988 in Indianapolis to Eric and Teresa Littrell. Growing up she was charismatic and warm. For the last four years of her career, Sara worked at Maxwell Intermediate School teaching math and science to fifth graders. She was a founding member of the Maxwell Intermediate School VEX Robotics Team. She is remembered as having a passion for and being committed to her students. She spent many Saturdays chaperoning and leading the team during events for her Robotics Team. She was loved and respected by her co-workers and her students.
On October 11, 2014, Sara married the love of her life, Eric Chance. Sara and Eric built a beautiful family and their children, Corbin and Libby, were the lights of Sara’s life. Sara was a phenomenal wife and mother who would have done and did do anything for her family.
