Sandra K. Alexander

Sandra K. Alexander, 73, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully at 1:11 AM on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born January 29, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN, to Barbara J. Bottoms and Vernon E. Smith.

She is survived by her children, one daughter Dawn (Shawn) Pfannenstiel of Broken Arrow, OK, and one son Brian (Jamie) Alexander of Carmel; six grandchildren Connor, Crae, Brooklyn, Clayton, Sophia and Quinn; one sister Nancy (Bud) Melloh of Fishers.

Her mother Barbara J. Bottoms, stepfather Travis L. Bottoms and father Vernon E. Smith preceded her in death.

Sandy graduated from Carmel High School in 1965. She moved to Port Charlotte, FL in 1990 and began working for PulsaFeeder. She returned to the Indianapolis area in 2015 as a retiree.

The visitation is scheduled from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home at Washington Park North Cemetery. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with a burial service to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sandy’s life.
