Sandra “Sandy” Jean Cradic (nee Grant), 77, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on January 29, 2022. She was born on March 31, 1944, to the late Robert and Bette LaPorte Grant in Indianapolis.
After graduating from Short Ridge High School, she went on to raise her two children in the Indianapolis area with her beloved husband, Clarence Cradic.
Sandy adored her work with children throughout her adult life. She worked in the day care setting and for the last 30+ years was a private nanny.
For 33 years, Sandy was a devout member of Christ Fellowship Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, led the Children’s Choir, wrote songs and sang in the church.
Sandy is survived by her beloved children, Robert Cradic and Tracy Reagan (nee Cradic), grandchildren Daniel Cradic, Heather Cradic, Amanda Pearl (nee Cradic), Megan Stout, Katie Stout, Steven Reagan, great grandchildren – Alex Gil, Carmen Gil, Isabelle Gil, Andrew Stout and Owen Israel. Additionally, she is survived by her sisters Robin Neibler (nee Grant) and Mary Pesek (nee Grant).
She is preceded in passing by her loving husband, Clarence Cradic; her brothers David, Ronnie, Jerry and Jimmy Grant and her sister Sharon Pope (nee Grant).
A time of fellowship, visitation and celebration will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 12-2PM with a memorial service to begin at 2PM all held at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. As part of the fellowship, lunch will be provided prior to the 2PM memorial service.
