Sandra Jane "Sandy" Humphrey

Sandra Jane “Sandy” Humphrey, 54, Lafayette, IN passed away on October 31, 2020.  Sandy was born in Columbus, IN on April 1, 1966 to parents, Jerry L. and Carolyn “Jane” (Lynn) Smith.  In her health, Sandy enjoyed reading, playing pool, collecting birds- especially roosters, watching hummingbirds and spending time with family and friends.  She especially enjoyed her time vacationing with her family.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Brian L. Humphrey; parents, Jerry and Jane Smith; children: Joe Fall, Patrick Judge and Deana McCubbins (Matt); grandmother, Lucille Wilson; siblings: Teresa Borden, Mike Smith and Steven Smith (Erica Shonkwiler); eight grandchildren; five nieces and nephews; her best friend, Mollie Henry; and many other beloved extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cona B. and Evelyn Lynn and H. Lester Smith.

Friends may call from 1pm until 3pm, Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite) located at 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, where funeral services will immediately follow beginning at 3pm.
