Samuel Harding Matlock

94, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on January 3, 2021.  Samuel was born on March 31, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late John and Mabel Matlock.  He was a Crane Operator for 35 years for General Motors Truck, Bus and Body Plant.  He was also owner of Matlock Well Service.  He was a WW II Army Veteran.  He was a member of Fleming Gardens Christian Church and the V.F.W.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Alma Matlock; son, John Matlock and his parents.  He is survive children, Linda (James) Waites and Samuel (Amy) Matlock; 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 5 to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Funeral Service will be Friday, January 8, 2021 at 10 am at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
