Sally Ann Park

Sally Ann (Mikels) Park, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018.

She was born on February 11, 1942 in Indianapolis to the late Hubert and Harriett (Ryan) Mikels.  Sally was a graduate of Warren Central High School and worked as an instructional assistant for Warren Township Schools.  She was a passionate advocate for the homeless and an active member of Eastgate Christian Church.

Sally is survived by her children, Tessa (Carlos) Alarcon, Peter Park and Nicki Moody; grandchildren, Ryan, Julian and Bella.  She is also survived by her brothers, Hugh Mikels and Daniel Mikels; sister-in-law, Meg; niece, Sharon Manning and family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 4-8pm at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park.  Funeral services will take place the following morning at 11am, also at the funeral home.  She will be laid to rest with her parents in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
