Ruth J. Roe

Ruth J. Roe, 97 of Fishers, IN passed away Monday, February 19, 2018. Ruth was born May 4, 1920 in Convoy, OH to the late James L. and Nora McConnell. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Edna Preston and Carl McConnell.

Ruth was a member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, and was formerly a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

Ruth was the widow of Francis Leo Roe, the founder and president of Arlington/Roe Insurance Company. She is survived by her children, Steven J. Roe (Victoria), James A. Roe (Vickie), Michael L. Roe, Robert C. Roe (Brenda), and Teresa Dillard (Don); 10 grandchildren; Andrew Roe (Quinn), Patrick Roe (Allison), Kristin Pike (Scott), Christopher Roe, Kyle Roe (Olivia), Katie Weiper (Kurt), Sara Slaughter (Jacob), Brooke Roe, Austin Roe, Bradley Roe, and 8 great-grandchildren.

We would like to thank the caregivers at Wellbrooke of Carmel and St. Vincent Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.

Friends and family are invited for visitation beginning at 10:00am, and a funeral Mass at 12:00 noon Saturday, February 24th at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church in Fishers.

Contributions can be made in Ruth’s name to the Little Sisters of the Poor or the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
