Ruby E. Moss, 97, of Westfield died April 8, 2023. Mrs. Moss was born August 15, 1925, in Indianapolis, IN to Jess and Ethel Shelton. They preceded her in death along with her husband Don Moss, daughter Debbie Teague, brothers George “Bud” Shelton and Fred Shelton, and brothers-in-law Ralph Hodgin and Dan Vogel.

Ruby was a graduate of Pike High School and attended Herron Art School.

Mrs. Moss was a typesetter for the Zionsville Times, a homemaker, farmer’s wife, and worked in Washington Township Food Service, retiring as the manager of North Central High School after 35 years of service.

She is survived by her children Nancy Nicholson, John Moss, Susan Cluelow, and Linda Monroe; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters Virginia Hodgin and Delores Vogel; and special friend Clayton Shelburne.

Viewing will be 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Zionsville at 105 W. Pine Street in Zionsville, with funeral starting at 12:30 p.m. with Elder Stanley Moss officiating. Burial will follow at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Westfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Moss to Open Doors of Westfield or Women’s Fund of Tipton County.
