Roy Van Capps

Roy Van Capps 83 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away February 7, 2025. He was born August 19, 1941, in Burkesville, Kentucky to the late Carlie and Zelma Capps. Roy was a Millwright for National Starch and Chemical for over 20 years. Roy enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, gardening, was known as a handyman in his neighborhood and was always willing to lend a hand. He also enjoyed going to church, his Chow dogs and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Tina (William) Webb, Susan (Dennis) Dilley, Jeffrey Capps, his 8 grandchildren, his 13 great grandchildren, his sister, Jean Roach, and his brother, Carlie Capps. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ida Capps, his sons, Roy “Bub” Capps, Jr., Timothy Capps, and a grandchild. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 12, 2025, 12:00pm-1:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park with the Funeral Service there at 1:00pm. Roy will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
